Arthur J. Sullivan Omro, Wisconsin Arthur J. Sullivan, age 89, of Omro, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at his daughter's home in Sun Prairie. He was born on September 10, 1919, in Oshkosh, the son of the late John and Ellen (Bradley) Sullivan. A lifelong resident of Omro, Art graduated from Omro High School in 1937, and had various jobs including an electrician and farming. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Omro, having joined the church on December 24, 1933. Art was also a member of the Omro Blue Lodge #168, Omro Royal Arch Chapter #43, and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Northeast Wisconsin Valley of Green Bay. He married Dorothea Simpson on March 29, 1958 at the First Presbyterian Church in Omro. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Dorothea; children, Ellen, of Sun Prairie, Margaret (Michael) Holland, of Naperville, Illinois; Joan, of Malewi, Africa; and Arthur Jr. (Megan), of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Brad (Erika), Jennifer, and Sara Holland, and Anna Marie, Connor, Colin, Grace, Calum, Ava, and Angeli Sullivan. A Funeral Service for Art will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 955 N. Webster Ave., Omro, with Pastor Ed Slusser officiating. Burial will be in the Omro Cemetery. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at which time a Masonic Service will be held.
