Audrey M. Grundman, age 90, formerly of the town of Clayton, died Monday, February 19, 2018, at Prairie Home Assisted Living in Menasha. She was born February 18, 1928, in Green Bay to the late Ralph and Geraldine (Peck) Gardner. Audrey attended Menasha High School through the 11th grade and finished her senior year in Watertown, Wisconsin. On September 4, 1948, she married Robert LaVern Grundman at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Neenah. Audrey was a homemaker and mother to eight children. Audrey was instrumental in helping Bob run the family businesses. For a few years she also worked at the Ridgeway Country Club and Clayton Elementary School. Audrey was a member of the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, the Ladies Circle, and also taught Sunday School from 1973 until 2009. She also was a member of the Beaver Valley Homemakers, then Spring Valley Homemakers, Beaver Valley 4-H, the Larsen/Winchester Lioness Club, as well as volunteering at Bethesda. Audrey enjoyed knitting, playing golf, tending her peony and flower gardens. Audrey is survived by eight children and their families: daughter, Sandra (Lawrence Sr.) Basel, and their children, Lawrence Jr. (Kim) Basel and children, Alexis (fiancé, Austin Boehmer), Zachary, and Cadin Lloyd; Kenneth (Tammy) Basel, and children, Rachel, Alysha, Abby Wynstra, and Ashley Wynstra; Andrea (Russ) Gerke, and children, Reagan and Erin; Timothy (Julie) Basel, and children, Elizabeth and Carter; son, Bruce (Ruthie) Grundman, and their children, Pamela Euclide (Mike Downs), and children, Skyler Euclide, Greg, Gavin, and Carter Downs; Misty (Chris) Carriveau, Nicholas (Missy) Grundman, and children, Isaac and Hunter; daughter, Linda Grundman; son Eric (Phyllis) Grundman, and children, Bryan Meyerhofer (fiancée, Kie Watanabe), Connor and Alec Grundman; son, Gerald Sr. (Becky Richards) Grundman, and children, Gerald Jr. (Angela) Grundman, and child, Alana; Jason Grundman (fiancée, Taylor Beck), Thomas II (Liz) Richards , and child, Thomas III; daughter, Nancy (Ronald Jr.) Cohen, and children, Joshua Lamberg, Aaron (Nikki) Lamberg, and child, Aidan; Tanner (Jessica) Lamberg, Kyle Lamberg, Aaron (Catherine) Cohen, and child, Aaron Jr., Ronald Cohen III; son, Robert "Jim" (Missy) Grundman, and their children, Jacob and Leah Grundman; daughter, Cheryl (James) Wichman, and their children, Emily (Keith) Schreiner, and children, Hailey and Henry; Noah Wichman (fiancée, Emily Ott). She is also survived by a brother, Calvin (Mary) Gardner; and sister-in-law, Rae Joan Harvey; and other relatives and friends. Along with her parents, Audrey was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grundman; a son, Keith Leroy Grundman; a sister and brother-in-law, Murial and Richard Sotherland; and a son-in-law, Wilbur Deastell. A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, February 22, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 23 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church 3703 Fairview Rd. Neenah. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Paul Meier officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Larsen/Winchester Lioness Club.
