Honoring the life of Barbara (“Bobbi”) Jean Blick
Barbara (Bobbi) J. Blick, age 79, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was born in Cook County, Illinois, on February 4, 1947. Throughout her lifetime she worked numerous jobs, but her most impactful was providing childcare to many children. She was an animal lover, and her home was never without at least one pet. She was previously married to Robert Olkiewicz Sr., and together they were blessed with four children.
Surviving Barbara are her four children: Dawn Sippl, Tamara (David) Hunt, Robert Olkiewicz Jr., and Carri (Bill) Schettle; her nine grandchildren: Callan (Joshua) Nelson, Austyn (Evan) Whitehead, Jonah (Alyssa) Sippl, Caleb (Lauren) Hunt, Erin (Noah) Hunt, Haley (Seth) Olkiewicz, Hannah (Taylor) Olkiewicz, Lucas Schettle, and Aubrey Schettle; her twelve great-grandchildren: Rhylee, Beau, and Baylie Danke; Aleah, Landon, and Benson Hunt; Noel, Collin, and Ivy Nelson; Jettson and Traeger Sippl; and Joey Whitehead; her brother, Norman (Lili) Jouppi; and her nephews Mark, Matt, and Luke Jouppi.
Numerous family members preceded her in death, including her great-grandparents; her mother Jean Jouppi: her stepfather Norman Jouppi: her sister, Elizabeth Blick: and her grandchildren Evan Schettle, Taylor Danke, and Liam Nelson.
The family sends sincere thanks to the caring staff at both Fresenius Kidney Care of Oshkosh/Appleton and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Also, a special thank you to Carol Willison for being such a good and helpful friend to our mother.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main Street, Winneconne, Wisconsin. Visitation will take place from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at 5:00 PM. A private burial will be held for the family.
