February 7, 1963 – April 21, 2026
Barry Alan Tetzke, 63, passed away on April 21, 2026. He was born in Berlin, WI on February 7, 1963 to David and Karen (Rucks) Tetzke. He grew up in Menasha and graduated from Menasha High School in 1981. He enjoyed singing in the chorus and participating in musicals. In his own words, “I spent 13 glorious years singing with the White Heron Chorale n/k/a New Voices”. Barry loved watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Wisconsin Badgers. He loved going to movies and enjoyed tagging along with his sister for Tuesday matinees.
He is survived by his parents and sister, Michele Demerath. He is also survived by cousins: Randy(Teresa)Rucks, Becky(Todd)Voeltner, Gina(Scott)Hoffmann, Amy(Kevin)Bartels and Corey(Eileen)Carolfi, and other relatives and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his brother-in-law, Joseph Demerath, grandfather, Clarence Tetzke, grandmother, Evelyn Rucks, grandmother, Lucille (Herman)Buechel; cousin, Tristan Pigorsch, and Aunt & Uncles Lewis (Ione)Pigorsch, Louis (Cecile)Rucks.
We would like to thank the Oncology department at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for the care they provided over the past nine months. We would also like to thank Compassus Hospice for Barry’s care the last few weeks of his life. Their compassion and care toward Barry was truly appreciated.
Per Barry’s request, there will be no funeral
