Obituary

Bud. G. Trittin, 75, of Omro, died Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Webster Manor in Omro. He was born May 30, 1950, in Oshkosh to the late Oscar and Caroline (Fiegel) Trittin. For 33 years, Bud worked as a union carpenter. He enjoyed baseball, basketball, fishing, hunting, remodeling houses, and was an avid Green Bay Packer, Badger, and Brewer fan. Bud especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

Bud is survived by two sons, Jamie (Megan) Trittin, and Eric Krings; two grandchildren, Dade and Calli Krings; a sister, Kathy (John) Aron; an aunt, Betty Schuster; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Along with his parents, Bud was also preceded in death by a son, Cole Trittin; a brother, Douglas Trittin; grandparents, Franz and Jessie Trittin, Otto and Margaret Fiegel; and two nephews, Michael Aron and Dan Creighbaum.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Poygan.

Bud’s family would like to extend special thanks to the Webster Manor staff, especially the owner Tim Burns and manager Angie; the St. Croix Hospice team, especially Ashley and Dakota, for their kind and loving and care provided.
