Carla Joan (Stridde) Cross, 94, of Winchester, WI, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026. She was born on May 21, 1932, in Neenah, WI to Carl and Violet (Pope) Stridde. Carla was a 1950 graduate of Winneconne High School. After graduation, she worked as a secretary for the Winnebago County Fair and an insurance company for several years. On May 1, 1954, Carla married Richard C. Cross at Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester.

Carla was a lifelong Packers fan and attended home and away games for many years. She was proud to have attended the Ice Bowl and continued to attend games until she was 90.

It was well known among her family that you did not call her during a Packers game unless it was a commercial or halftime! Carla was a remarkable woman who loved her family, friends, animals, and the underdog. She enjoyed shopping and loved finding treasures that anyone was in search of.

Carla is survived by her son, Steve (Terre) Cross; daughters, Deb (Rich) Bellin, Sarah (Sharon Wichlacz) Cross; grandchildren, Larry (Trista Jacobs) Bellin and their son Oliver; Lydia (Jon) Petrack and their son Jonathan; Seth Cross, Elliot (Joan Freitag) Cross, and Abigail Wichlacz; Michelle (Dave) Cauley and their daughter Bronwyn.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Cross; her brother, Douglas Stridde; daughter-in-law, Toni Cross; and two grandsons, Devon and Bennett Wichlacz.
