Obituary

Carol Breaker Town of Clayton, Wisconsin Carol Breaker, age 77, of the Town of Clayton, died Friday, December 9, 2011, with her family by her side. Carol was born December 25, 1933, in Jamestown, North Dakota to the late Erich and Minnie (Ahlert) Kratzke, and she grew up in Clintonville. She was a 1952 graduate of Clintonville High School and graduated from nursing training in Milwaukee. Carol worked as an LPN at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah in the nursery, working until she started her family. On May 27, 1961, she married Richard Breaker and they celebrated 50 years of marriage this year. She was actively involved in raising her family and was a Girl Scout leader. Carol's family was of great importance to her and she was so proud of her grandchildren's accomplishments. She was an avid Milwaukee Braves and Packer fan, not only watching Packer games but attending them for many years. Carol is survived by her husband, Richard Breaker; her two daughters and their families, Sue and Rob Edminster and their children, Matt and Shanna Edminster; Barb Bombinski and her daughters, Kayla and Kendra Bombinski; and other relatives and friends. Along with her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Kratzke. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 140 S. Green Bay Rd. Neenah, with Pastor Stephen Dietzler officiating. Private burial will be in the Clayton Cemetery. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Carol's family wishes to thank the staff of the Hospice at Cherry Meadows for all of the care and support shown to her during her stay.
