Carole J. LuMaye, age 87, of Winneconne died at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI on Monday, June 5, 2023, with her loving daughter Diana by her side.

She was born in Green Bay, WI on July 16, 1935. Carole married the love of her life, Robert E. LuMaye, on September 12, 1957.

Her interests were spending time with her family, reading books, doing crossword puzzles, and (of course) catalog shopping!

Carole is survived by her five children: Stephen (Shirley) LuMaye, of Winneconne, WI; Cindy (Richard) Peterson, of Winneconne, WI; Diana LuMaye, of Oshkosh, WI; Robert J. (Rean) LuMaye, of Oshkosh, WI; Paul (Angela) LuMaye, of Malone, WI; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding Carole in death were: her father, Clarence Schmitt; mother, Grace Christensen; and husband, Robert.

We will miss her dearly but are happy that she has finally been reunited with our Dad.

A private burial for the immediate family will be held at the Winneconne Cemetery.
