Carrol Jean Behringer, age 83, of Winneconne, died Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Bella Vista in Oshkosh. She was born August 4, 1934, in Owen-Withee, Wisconsin to the late John and Mae (Komis) Wesneski. On June 21, 1950, Carrol married George Behringer in Neillsville, and in 1952 they made their home in Winneconne, where they lived in the same house until 2015. Carrol was a stay at home mom and provided in-home child care for the neighbor kids. Carrol and George enjoyed country and western dancing, and she also liked sewing, quilting, and baking. Carrol is survived by four children, Allan (Sharon) Behringer, of Neenah; Georgia (James) Meyer, of Marshfield; Diane (Chris) Dahlke, of Germantown; Donna (Mark) Weigt, of Franklin; grandchildren, Sara (Jeff) Seidling, Scott (Ashley) Behringer, William Meyer, Josh Weigt, Caleb Weigt, Eliana Weigt; great-grandchildren, Elliott Seidling, Calvin Behringer, and Autumn Behringer; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Along with her parents, Carrol was also preceded in death by her husband, George, on May 4, 2016; and three sisters, Anna Mae Porath, Joyce Ackermann, and Norma Miller. A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, April 13, 2018, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Weigt officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Plummer Cemetery, Oshkosh.
