Chester "Chet" V. Coda Winneconne, Wisconsin Chester "Chet" V. Coda, age 79, of Winneconne, died Friday, February 4, 2011, at home. He was born February 5, 1931, in Berlin to the late Joseph and Gertrude (Formiller) Coda. Chet served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. In December of 1953 he married Dorothy Manske at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Berlin, and they made their home in Franklin, Wisconsin until 1988. For 35 years Chet worked at the Kyle Co. in South Milwaukee before retiring in 1988. He enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and duck hunting. Chet is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Coda, of Winneconne; daughters, Nancy (Michael) Paull, of Greendale, Wisconsin; Linda (Patrick) Benkowski, of Fountain Hills, Arizona; six grandchildren, Jonathan (Jennifer) Paull, Matthew (Catherine) Paull, Ryan Paull, Rachel, Alyssa, and Clayton Benkowski; six great-grandchildren, Logan, Jack, Dylan, Haley, Violet, and Aidan Paull; sister, Janice (Ted) Morchinski; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Chet was preceded in death by son, Mark Coda; and brothers, Bob and Gene Coda. A Funeral Mass for Chet will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne, with Fr. Doug LeCaptain and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Cremation will follow and inurnment with military honors will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Berlin at a later date. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chet's name may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church and The American Cancer Society. Mueller Funeral Home 904 E.
