Claude Alois Collins, age 74, of Oshkosh, WI, was called home to be with his Lord on June 12, 2026, with his family and friends by his side.

Claude was born on April 12, 1952 in Mauston, WI, to the late Alois and Yvette (Baumans) Collins. He graduated from Lourdes High School in 1970 and went on to work many years at his parent’s truck stop. He was a jack of all trades. He worked as a traffic manager before retiring from maintenance at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh. He married Susan Lee on August 20, 1977.

Claude was known for his passion for golf. He also enjoyed woodworking and helping others. Claude was referred to as “Mr. Fix It” by many people who knew him. He was always helping fix something for others.

Claude is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Collins; sons, Erik and Cory Collins; grandson, Korbin. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Arla Lee; sisters, Carol (Tom) and Nadine (Dick); brother, Mark (Lisa); his brothers-in-law and their spouses; sister-in-law, Kim; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins; his golf buddies; AARP Tax Family; his great neighbors; and the wonderful church family, who gives continuous love and support.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Yvette Collins; father-in-law, Oscar Lee; and his brother-in-law, Keith Lee.

Per Claude’s wishes, there will be a private graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery in the town of Poygan, WI.

We will love and miss you forever. Be at rest and peace.
