Clemens "Clem" A. Johnson Oshkosh, Wisconsin Clemens, "Clem" A. Johnson, age 79, of Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011, on the 50th anniversary of his marriage to his loving wife, Carla. Clem was born on August 30, 1931, in Oshkosh to the late Robert and Clara (Reuteler) Johnson. He graduated from Oshkosh High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Clem served his country in the U.S. Air Force. On March 11, 1961, he married Carla M. Knapp. For 12 years Clem ran Johnsons Shell Station, and was employed at Mercury Marine for 30 years. He was a member of the Algoma Blvd. United Methodist Church, and enjoyed volunteering doing odd jobs. Clem's lifelong hobbies included car racing at Elkhart Lake, organizing sports car rallies, and making Methodist crosses for nursing home residents. Clem was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife, Carla; two sons, Robert Johnson, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Thomas (Julie) Johnson, of Mantorville, Minnesota; one daughter, Judy (Richard) Albano, of Gordon, Wisconsin; and four grandchildren, Erick, Cassandra, Jared, and Colby. A Memorial Service for Clem will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Algoma Blvd. United Methodist Church, 1174 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, with Pastor Barry Yarbro officiating. Inurnment will be Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
