Elaine H. Kietz Elaine H. Kietz, age 86, went to her eternal rest on Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. She was born December 16, 1925, in Oshkosh to the late Paul and Elsie (Gluth) Sitter. Elaine was a 1943 graduate of Oshkosh High School. On October 12, 1946, she married Harold Kietz at Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Elaine worked at Oshkosh Vocational School and for 28 years she was employed with the Wisconsin Association of School Boards. She was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne. Elaine enjoyed knitting, crocheting, craft work, and bowling. Elaine is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold Kietz, of Oshkosh; three children, William "Bill" (Luella) Kietz, of Appleton; Carol (Nile) Beck, of Appleton; Kathy Kietz, of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Renee (Tim) Bake, David (Adrianne) Beck, Eric Beck, and Abby Beck; one great-grandchild, Brandon Bake; one brother, Richard (Jolanda) Sitter, of Bel Air, Maryland; two sisters, Ruth Schneider, Audrey Binder, both of Oshkosh; sisters-in-law, Arline Sitter, of Oshkosh; Jutta Kietz, of Germany; and nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Elaine was also preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Plotz; three brothers, Harold, Milton, and Edward Sitter; and a brother-in-law, Earl Kietz. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 8 S. Fourth St. Winneconne, with Pastor Mark Albrecht and Pastor John Covach officiating. Burial will be in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Oshkosh. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, February 16 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, and will continue on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
