Helen A. Schultz, age 95, of Winneconne, formerly of Neillsville and Boom Bay, died Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born September 28, 1920, in Neillsville, number five of nine children, to the late John and Louise (Mazur) Kaczor. On May 29, 1943, Helen married Leon J. Schultz. They moved from Chicago to the Neillsville area in 1949 where they farmed for about 30 years. Upon retirement, Helen and Leon moved to Boom Bay. In 1987 Leon preceded Helen in death, after which, she built a home in Winneconne. Helen enjoyed gardening, bowling, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and she rarely lost a game of cards. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Winneconne.
Helen is survived by five children, Joan Tesch, of Beaver Dam; Pat (Walter) Wucki, of Omro; Dianne (Ray) Shreve, of Lecanto, Florida; John (Diane) Schultz, of Antioch, Illinois; Tony (Mary) Schultz, of Chippewa Falls; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Beverly and Lorraine Kaczor; son-in-law, Ben Falcone; numerous nieces, nephews, and good dear friends.
Along with her parents and husband, Helen was also preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Falcone; a grandson, Michael Berger; a son-in-law, Wayne Tesch; two sisters, Sophie Spitzock, Josephine Mullaley; and six brothers, Stanley, Joseph, John, Thomas, Anton, and Frank Kaczor.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne, with Fr. Joe Mattern and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Burial will follow in the Winneconne Cemetery.

A smile . . . a laugh ~ that's how I will remember Aunt Helen. She was a wonderful person! Everyone who knew her feels the loss.
