Scott Johnson, 60, of Winneconne, passed away peacefully Friday, December 15, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. He was born January 29, 1963, to Curt and Linda (Renel) Johnson. Scott was a 1981 graduate of Winneconne High School. In November of 1981 Scott married his high school sweetheart, Teri Laird.

For over 20 years, Scott worked as a HVAC Technician for Ryf Heating and A/C in Winneconne, where he truly enjoyed his work and his customers. For the past 2 years, he was employed at Johnstone Supply in Appleton. Scott loved spending time outdoors, camping, kayaking, and hiking. Snowmobiling was his true passion and he was a proud member of the Winneconne Wolfrunners Snowmobile Club.

Preceding Scott in death were his parents and grandparents.

Scott is survived by the love of his life and wife of 42 years, Teri Johnson, of Winneconne; and his son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Laura Johnson, of Appleton. He also leaves behind his sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private celebration of life will be held.

I was so surprised to see this obit. Scott serviced our furnaces both at the business and at home for years when he was with Ryf's. Always a very soft spoken, kind, honest man. May God grant peace to the Johnson family.
