Joyce B. Olson, age 81, of Winneconne, Wisconsin died Monday, August 6, 2018, at home after a battle with cancer. She was born March 2, 1937, in Milwaukee to the Elmore and Clara (Kainz) Semrow. On March 27, 1954, Joyce married James Marvin Olson in Waukesha. Through the years Joyce did babysitting, and had been employed with Generac, the Waukesha County Court House, and managed The Journal Shack. Upon their retirement in 1999 Joyce and James moved to Winneconne. She had been a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Waukesha. Joyce enjoyed bowling, playing dart ball, softball, boating, water skiing, fishing, camping, gardening, playing games, putting together puzzles, painting, sewing, ice skating, deer hunting, and especially spending time with her family and friends. Joyce bowled in Winneconne as a member of the Morton Pharmacy bowling team, and one of her bowling achievements included a first place single in the Tri-County Bowling Tournament.
Joyce is survived and will be missed by: her husband of 64 years, James M. Olson; her children, Debora Olson (Greg Radtke), John (Jackie) Olson, Penny (Robert) Gonzales, a beloved niece, Brenda Semrow; grandchildren, Dana (Adam) Gerber, Chelsy Jungbluth, Eliot Jungbluth, John Olson Jr., Jacob (Cynthia) Olson, Corey Gonzales, Gina (Shannon) Stangel, Lucas Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Donovon, Elena, and Wesley Gerber; Marley, Evelyn, and Parker Olson; Ciara and Mason Stangel; Ariana Gonzales. She is also survived by her mother, Clara Miller; brothers, Alfred (Gloria) Semrow, Robert (Nadeane) Semrow, Raymond Semrow, Richard Willgrubs; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding Joyce in death were her father, Elmore Semrow; stepfather, Joseph Miller; and a sister, Mary M. Semrow.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a service to be held at 10:00 a.m., at the RiverGlen Christian Church S31 W30601 Sunset Dr. Waukesha.
Joyce's family wishes to thank the Affinity Visiting Nurses staff for all of the care and concern given to her.

Cousin Joyce, You were always so friendly and happy. I will miss you at all the reunions in the future. I hope to see you in heaven someday because I know you will be there and we will have another reunion with everyone then !

I am so sorry for the loss of one of the best aunts i loved very much. She was one great women and will truly be missed. She touched so many lives and loved so deep. I know she will have many people up in heaven that will great her with open arms and God will take away all her pain she had in life. my God help her children and grandchildren through this hard time dealing with their loss.
