On early Monday morning, November 26, 2018, the world lost a great man in Ronald James DeAngelo. Ron was born on August 7, 1948, in New York City to Louis and Concetta DeAngelo. He was a decorated member of the United States Air Force who served in the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart for his service.
Upon returning home from Vietnam, he joined the workforce and, on an assignment in Wisconsin, met the love of his life, Mary DeAngelo. Together they had three children - Nickie, Angela, and Michael.
Ron worked in Information Systems for Oshkosh Truck and JJ Keller. Even though his work was in programming, he was all about people - always wanting everyone to feel both respected and heard. That was where he flourished. But as Ron would often say, "that's just my job, family is my life."
Ron took sheer joy from being a husband, father, uncle, son, grandfather, and friend. He was immensely proud of his family and spent as much time as he possibly could with them - he loved them all without limits.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, the aforementioned Louis and Concetta; his sister, Maria; and a son-in-law, Timothy.
He will be missed by anyone that crossed his path - most of all by his family - his beloved Mary, his three children and their spouses, and his seven (soon to be eight) grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Military honors will follow.
If you wish please submit online condolences to muellerfuneralhomeinc.com.

The news on Ron is so sad. I worked with Ron at JJKA for 13 years, and he was always objective, professional and empathetic. So level headed and with a wonderful sense of humor. He managed and mentored many technicians whose careers were made better by his efforts. And so proud of his family. He always had a smile and a laugh to share when he talked about his kids and grandkids. He was a great guy. John R. Felhofer Hudson, WI
