George Carlton Kuhn, 61, of Winchester, WI, was called home to Heaven, Saturday, December 8, 2018, at his home after a long battle against pancreatic cancer.
George was born on February 10, 1957, in Kaukauna, WI to Carlton and Clara (Lundt) Kuhn. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1975. On August 2, 1980, he married the love of his life, Susan (Groff) in Menasha, WI. George was employed as an electronics technician at Hillshire Farm in New London, WI for twenty-five years until he medically retired. He thoroughly enjoyed building fishing rods, hunting, fishing, and watching Packer games. George also enjoyed listening to audiobooks, putzing in the kitchen, and spending as much time with his wife, children, and grandchildren as possible. His love will not be forgotten by those who knew him as Kuhnie, Dad, Papa Jo, Poohpa, and Papa. His humor, "seasonal allergies," and colloquial sayings ("I'm finer than frog fuzz.") will be missed by all who knew him.
George is survived by his wife, Susan of Winchester; his four daughters, Sonja Kuhn of Winchester, WI; Jenny (Dan) Kuhn-Schrickel of Green Bay, WI; Michelle (Nick) Greuel of Camp Lejeune, NC; and Ali Kuhn (significant other Andrew) of Nashotah, WI; his two sisters, Betty Kuhn of Two Rivers, WI; and Ellie (Jerry) Maynard of Sherwood, WI; five grandchildren whom he loved immensely, Lucy, Jeff, Ethan, Lily, and Jason; his mother-in-law, Joyce Groff of Menasha, WI; along with many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Clara of Combined Locks, WI; and his father-in-law, Gale Groff of Menasha, WI.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 210 Pleasant Dr, Winneconne, WI. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Fr. Tom Long and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. At the conclusion of the Mass, a luncheon will be served at Kaudy Hall. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.

Sue and Family: Forever cherish the many fond moments which George provided since he joined the Groff family on August 2, 1980. His love of family was always most evident through his smiles, his humor and his compassion towards others. He will be missed in a physical sense; however, he will always be with us via a spiritual sense through our quiet moments, our prayers and our family gatherings. Blessings always!
