IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diana Mae
Wrolstad
June 13, 1943 – January 3, 2021
Diana Mae Wrolstad, age 77, of the town of Vinland, died Sunday, January 3, 2021, at home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 13, 1943, to the late G.C. and Alfretta (Nowland) Tellock. Diana was a graduate of Weyauwega High School and Fox Valley Tech. On October 10, 1964, she married Ernest Weyland at Zion Lutheran Church in Readfield. Diana and Ernie farmed in Readfield until 1968 when they moved to the town of Vinland where they continued farming until 1988. On May 19, 1999, Ernest preceded Diana in death. She married David Wrolstad on December 14, 2002, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne. Diana had worked at Standard Kollsman in Oshkosh, and for many years was employed at Printron in Neenah. She was a long-time member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne.
Diana was known for drawings she made which were the names of the people she was honoring being the drawing itself; she made these for weddings, graduations, and other memorable events in people's lives. Diana was also involved with Homemakers.
One thing Diana would always say was, "Life is what you make it." She lived her life to the fullest whether it was spending time with family, taking pictures, dancing, or traveling. She was adventurous and loved to try new things and new food. Diana was a very positive person and always made people laugh. She was always smiling, even in the end, and that smile will be greatly missed.
Diana is survived by her husband, David Wrolstad; her four children and eight grandchildren: Charlene (John) Dungan and children, George Sage (Alexis Jaskolski), Monique Sage (Michael Mosley), Nicholas Sage; Steve Weyland and his son, Trenton Weyland; Ryan (Lisa) Weyland and their children, Samantha and Santana Weyland; Karrie Hoks (Danny Peyton) and children, Nathan and Olyvia Hoks. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Dallas (Laurie) Tellock; and other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents and first husband Ernest, Diana was also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister, David, Darrell, Darnell, Warner, and Mary Tellock; and her stepfather, Joe Koenamann.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church 8 S. 4th St. Winneconne.
