Diane Rae Borg Diane Rae Borg, age 48, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012, after a stroke earlier in the week. Diane was born on December 1, 1963, in Marinette the daughter of Gladys and Andrew Borg. She attended Winneconne schools and Fox Valley Technical College in which she earned an Associate Degree in Data Processing/Computer Programming. Diane was employed by Steinert Printing in Oshkosh. Diane is survived by her father, Andrew (Estelle) Borg, Ogema; sisters, Suzann (Joel) Toeppler, Neenah; and Karen (Dan) Freeman, Anchorage, Alaska; niece Sara Toeppler, Neenah; nephews Andrew Freeman, Anchorage, Alaska, and Eric Freeman, Frankfort, Indiana; stepbrother Gregory (Cindy) Hanke, Rib Lake; and stepsisters, Jean (Dan) Lechmaire and Sue (Barry) Anderson, Rib Lake. Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Borg; brother, David Borg; and grandparents, Andy and Ethel Borg and Henry and Esther Lucht. At her Dad's home in Spirit, Diane enjoyed bike rides, walks in the woods, sledding and skiing in the winter, and feeding the chickadees. At her home in Oshkosh, she liked to read and enjoyed the company of her cats. A visitation will be on Wednesday June 6, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, followed by a funeral service. Burial will be at the Spirit Cemetery in Spirit, Wisconsin. Diane adopted her cats from the Oshkosh Humane Society and frequently made donations. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds will be used to make a contribution to this organization in her name.
