Douglas MacArthur Korn, age 72, of Winneconne passed away on Thursday July 31, 2014, at his home. He was born on March 12, 1942, in Oshkosh to Dorothy and George Korn. On October 19, 1963, Doug was married to Gail (Lewellyn) in Oshkosh. Doug graduated from Winneconne High School in 1960. Doug owned his own business, Doug's Electric, and worked with his son, Dean. Doug is survived by his wife, Gail; his daughter Debra King (Matt Konen); his son, Dean (Sally) Korn; grandchildren, Vanessa (Ryan), Nicole (Jorge), and Kyle (Amber) Korn, Abby and Clayton King; and many other relatives. He is also survived by a special friend, Jim; and his loyal cat, Billy. Preceding Doug in death were his parents; brothers, Theo (Ruth) and Wesley (Sue); and sister, Gladys (Jerry) Lee. Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting, tying Wolf River rigs, woodworking, and watching all of his grandchildren's sporting and school activities. Celebration of life for Doug will be held on Sunday August 3,, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne.
