Edna E. Waters, age 95, of Winneconne, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Eden Meadows in Oshkosh. She was born March 15, 1920, in Oshkosh to the late Edward and Minnie (Warnke) Baier. On May 6, 1939, Edna married the one and only love of her life, Robert Waters, and they enjoyed 74 years of marriage until Bob preceded her in death on August 12, 2013. She enjoyed gardening, doing all kinds of crafts including quilting and crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family. Edna was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne. Edna is survived by three sons, Jerry (Kathy) Waters, of Winneconne; Ron (Debra) Waters, of Winneconne; and Rick (Cheri) Waters, of Omro; eight grandchildren, Jami (Scott) Sebastian, Shelby (Marshall) Rasmussen, Brent (Rochelle) Waters, Rhonda (Tim) Whitford, Laura (Chris) Bahr, Wendy (Dan) Peterson, Michael (Nikol) Waters, Kristy Waters; seventeen great-grandchildren, Brendon, Brea, Abby, Brooke, Camryn, Brandon, Kylee, Mya, Cali, Zachary, Morgan, Alex, Brynn, Lyla, Coley, Griffin "Finn", and Brett; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Along with her parents and husband, Edna was also preceded in death by six sisters and brothers and their spouses, Viola (Alfred) Ryf, Erich (Lorraine) Baier, Harold (Eileen) Baier, Delores (Don) Robinson, Doris (Herb) Behnke, and LeRoy (Corleen) Baier. A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, November 28, 2015, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 8 S. Fourth St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Albrecht officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Memorials may be made in Edna's name to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Winneconne.
