Obituary

Edward Fredrick Ginnow Edward Fredrick Ginnow, age 92, died at Park View Health Center on Sunday, August 14, 2011. He is survived by his daughter, Jane (Jim) Petersen, of Dubuque, Iowa; and their two children, David (Melissa), Daniel (Tricia); and two great-grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Anna (Jim) Malek, of Winneconne; and their three children, Karen (Alyosha) McClain, Franklin Edward James Malek, and Danielle (Justin) Schmick. Edward was a lifetime Omro resident and served in the Army Air Force in World War II. He worked for Mercury Marine and was the lead mechanic for Patent No. 4,051,801 Drive Position Signaling Apparatus. Edward was recognized by the City of Omro for his profound expertise and continued maintenance of Omro's grand four sided timepiece. The family wishes to thank Aurora Hospice, the Park View staff, Aurora physicians and staff, and Ed's friends, for their kindness. Special recognition to Sparky for his devoted loyalty as Edward's little friend. A Funeral Service for Edward will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 955 N. Webster Ave., Omro, with Pastor Sara Ver Burg officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Omro Cemetery. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
