Elayne M. (Hilger) Olson, age 69, of Larsen, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born March 3, 1944, in Appleton to the late John and Viola (Fickel) Hilger. Elayne was a graduate of St. John's School in Little Chute. On October 31, 1964, she married Daniel Olson, and they farmed together for many years. Elayne enjoyed knitting with her friends at Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester. Elayne is survived by her husband of 48 years, Daniel Olson; three children, Scott (Lisa) Olson, Nancy Krog, and Leon (Karla) Olson, all of Larsen; four grandchildren, Molly Olson, Tyler Krog, and Sawyer and Sophie Olson. Along with her parents, a brother, Carl Hilger, also preceded Elayne in death. Per Elayne's wishes there will be no services held.
