Obituary

Eliza "Lisa" Marinack passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the age of 85 after a long and heartbreaking battle with Lewy Body dementia.

Lisa was born on July 12, 1938, in North Dakota. After high school she moved to Madison, WI where she met her devoted husband, Robert. They were married 65 years and raised seven children in their home in Allenville.

Lisa was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne and was a pioneer in the establishment of Family Life. For 30 years she worked in surgery and recovery at Theda Clark. Her greatest joy came from her 33 years volunteering at Father Carr's Place 2B. She also loved her outings with neighborhood friends, visits with her ten siblings, and family gatherings at her home.

Lisa truly had a heart of gold. Her mission in life was to see God in every person she met. She was kind, giving, and unconditional with her love. She impacted many by her deeds and was a true servant of the Lord. Lisa always made family a priority and everyone knew she loved her home in Phillips, canning vegetables, doing laundry, and a good rummage sale. She loved to spoil her grandchildren, eat chocolate, and dance with Robert. Her strong faith and charitable life empowered her daily life.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Robert; their children, Susan (Nathan) Hannes, Bob Marinack, Matt Marinack, Cindy (Ron) Kuehnl, Laura (John) Broderick, Tony (Donna) Marinack, and Mark (Brenda) Marinack. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Hannes, Nick (Jess) Hannes, Logan (Crystal) Hannes, Elizabeth Marinack, Meghan (Kevin) Mauthe, Hillary (Brandon) Grosz, Alex (Vanessa) Broderick, Ross Broderick, Josh Marinack, Makayla (Jacob) Dahleen, Mitchell (Audrey) Marinack, Lucas (Maggie) Marinack and John Bartels. She also leaves behind seven beautiful great-grandchildren with two more on the way.

The entire Marinack family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at Silverstone Memory Care, ThedaCare Hospice and Moments Hospice. Special thanks to dear friends Lynn Nelson and Mary Tadych.

A Rosary will be prayed on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne, followed by a visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Tom Long officiating. Burial will be in the Allenville Cemetery.
