Elizabeth S. Binz, age 68, of Winneconne, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Azura Memory Care in Oshkosh; she was diagnosed with dementia when she was only 57. Elizabeth was born August 14, 1953, in Urbana, Illinois to the late Leo and Marie (Bunton) Clennon. On May 14, 1983, she married Lee Binz in Philo, Illinois. Beth earned a Master's of Reading Education from UW-Oshkosh. During two summer institutes she studied with Lucy Calkins at Columbia University in New York. Beth worked for the Appleton Area School District as a Reading Specialist. Beth loved to teach reading, to read, and had volunteered at the Winneconne Elementary School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lee Binz, of Winneconne; daughter, Amanda (Brett) Felsman, of Avon Lake, Ohio; sons, Alex (Becky) Binz, of Sun Prairie; Thomas Binz, of Richmond, California; grandchildren, Mallory Felsman, Kinsley Felsman, Hudson Felsman, Aria Binz, Riley Binz; a sister, Ann Clennon; and a brother, Thomas Clennon.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Kevin Ripley and Deacon Paul Vidmar officiating.
