Fern D. White Omro, Wisconsin Fern D. White, age 92, of Omro, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. She was born March 26, 1918, in Madison, to the late Emil and Hattie (Acker) Teckam. Fern's mother died when she was seven years old and she was raised by an uncle and aunt, Rev. and Mrs. Albert and Lucretia Acker. After graduation from high school in Sparta, Wisconsin, Fern returned to Madison where she trained and worked as a dental assistant for 25 years. During that time she married Emmett Rendahl, and they were later divorced. Emmett and their son Frederick preceded Fern in death. Fern moved to northern Wisconsin and lived in Medford, Ladysmith, and Bruce. While in Ladysmith she met and married Robert White in June of 1988. Robert died in 2005, and in June of 2009, Fern moved to Omro to be nearer to her family. Fern is survived by her sister, Helen Hinz, of Winneconne; her daughter-in-law, Eileen Rendahl; and grandsons, Theodore and Alexander Rendahl, all of Davis, California; nieces and nephews, LuAnn Hinz, Gib (Diane) Hinz, Bill Hinz, and Kurt (Lori) Hinz; three step-daughters, one step-son, and their families. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday (TODAY), May 24, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, with Pastor Mara Rivera officiating.
