Mom was a great homemaker who enjoyed baking for her friends and family. She will be remembered for her famous apple slices, Christmas candies and cookies and her expansive Christmas Village of which she was so proud. She loved to dance, play Canasta, Hand & Foot and crochet afghans for her family. We will always fondly remember her as "Gramma Cootie" and "the towel lady". Mom had a great sense of humor and always had a rhyme or story to relate to all who came to see her. She will always be remembered as her stories, rhymes and funny sayings are passed on such as "Here's where the cat sits...." and "Here's the church, here's the steeple ...." Our family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Mom's Guardian Angels at Crestwood Senior Living; Kattie "Katie Did", Kelly "Shortie", Shannon, Ashley, Amy, Kelli, Peggi, Jessica, Tiffany, Terri, Lisa "Little Red", Arianne, Michelle, Julianne, Michelle, Dawn and Dr. Steve Hagen for their compassionate and gentle care.
