Gary W. Johnson, age 60, of Ladysmith died of natural causes on Monday, March 2, 2020, at U.W. Hospital in Madison. He was born February 5, 1960, in Little Falls, Minnesota to Dorvin and Luella (Frandsen) Johnson.

Gary loved dogs, and he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and working on cars.

He is survived by his three children, Brock Johnson, of Ladysmith; Benjamin Johnson (Dianne Goetz), of Rock, Michigan; Brittney Johnson (fiancé, Noah Smith), of Oshkosh; as well as former wife, Jolene Johnson, of Winneconne; his father, Dorvin Johnson; a sister, Sherrie Johnson; a brother, Alan Johnson; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding Gary in death were an infant daughter, Ariel Johnson; his mother, Luella Johnson; his girlfriend, Mary Gryga and his beloved dog, Bailey.

Per Gary's wishes there will be no visitation or service held.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at UW-Madison Hospital where Gary had spent the last month.
