Gwendolyn E. Schmeling, age 93, of Winneconne died Saturday November 15, 2014, at her home. She was born on September 28, 1921, to the late Irvin and Margaret (Cowling) Zwicky. On September 29, 1945, Gwendolyn married Norman Schmeling in Neenah and they made their home and farmed in the town of Winneconne their entire married lifetime. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Winneconne. Gwendolyn is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Arla and Ronald Wojahn, of Holmen, Wisconsin; and Aeralyn Holmes, of Neenah; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Orville Zwicky, Marlin and Michelle Zwicky; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Along with her parents, Gwendolyn was also preceded in death by her husband Norman, on September 8, 2002. A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mara Rivera officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
