Jacqueline “Jacki” J. Gonzales was born on December 18, 1953, Jacki brought joy and love to all those around her until her passing on December 28, 2025. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we also feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the time we shared with her.
Jacki was a caring and loving wife to John “Huntz” Gonzales, and together they created a beautiful family filled with love and laughter. She was a proud mother to her two wonderful sons, Johnno and Jesse, who were the light of her life. She was a loving grandmother to granddaughters Dierdre Stokoe (husband - Brandon) and Brianna Gonzales and great-grandmother to Solomon Stokoe.
Jacki was not just a mother and wife; she was a Mama Bear to her sisters, always ready to slap them on the back of the head to set them straight, but also to offer her unwavering support whenever it was needed. Her strength and guidance were a constant source of comfort to those she loved. She never met a baby she didn't immediately love. She was a steadfast friend. She leaves a huge void in her partner in crime's life, Georgia Jackson (husband - Tim).
Jacki is survived by her husband, John “Huntz” Gonzales, her two sons, John “Johnno” Gonzales (wife- Kelly Gonzales), Jesse Gonzales (wife -Dody Gonzales); brother, James Ehley (wife -Jacki Ehley); sisters, Jane Ennis, Janice Ehley, Jodi Lange, Nancy Ehley, Nadine Ehley, Elaine Wolf (husband - Chris).
Jacki was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Ehley and father, James Ehley.
Family was everything to Jacki. It can't be stated strongly enough. Her love for them was intoxicating, and she made every moment spent together unforgettable.
Jacki had a knack for creating cherished memories, whether it was through her homemade family meals, cookie days, or evenings spent gathered around the fire, sharing stories and laughter. Jacki took great joy in spending time on the boat, sitting on the dock fishing or fishing with her great grandson Solly, creating bonds that will last a lifetime.
The tranquility of visiting Jimmy in Texas with her sisters brought Jacki immense joy. It was there that she found peace and happiness in the company of her loved ones, surrounded by nature and the warmth of family ties. Jacki also found joy in her favorite Wednesday spot, Jorgies, where she would enjoy drinks and laughter with friends. These moments were a testament to her vibrant spirit and love for life.
Jacki was a woman who touched the hearts of many. Her generosity, warmth, and fierce love for her family will always be remembered. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the beautiful memories she created and the love she shared. May her spirit continue to live on in our hearts, guiding us through our own lives with the same passion she exhibited every day.
