IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James "Jim"
"Lubo" Tofari
February 29, 1964 – March 26, 2017
James "Jim" "Lubo" Tofari Jr., age 53, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 26, 2017, from a heart attack. Jim was one hell of a husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He enjoyed helping his wife and kids with their never ending projects they had lined up for him, going on his Sunday senior citizen' runs, hunting with his son, spending time with his grandkids, and riding his Harley and Mustang. He was deeply involved with the union at Oshkosh Truck. He always had his union brother's backs. His daughter and grandson referred to Jim as their Superman'; there was nothing this man couldn't do. Jim will forever be watching from above. Jim is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Tofari; children, Tony (Alicia) Tofari, Kayla Tofari (fiancé, Matt); grandchildren, Mason Tofari, Josephine Tofari; mother, Donna Tofari; sisters, Shelley (Greg) Papenfuss, Debbie (Frank) Miner; and grandmother, Geri Tofari. A private memorial service for Jim was held with family, per his wishes, on Saturday, April 1, 2017. A separate celebration of Jim's life for his union brothers and sisters will be held at the Local UAW 578 Union Hall located on 2920 Oregon St. Oshkosh, WI on Friday, April 7, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jim's name for the Redgranite Area Fire District Rescue Fund. A special thank you to the Village of Redgranite Fire & Rescue Department for all their efforts and to Mueller Funeral Home in Winneconne, WI for assisting with all the arrangements. If you wish please submit online condolences to muellerfuneralhomeinc.com. "Meeting Adjourned."
