James A (Jim) Selle
Died......January 27,2026 the cancer ultimately overwhelmed his body ability to function leading to his death. He was 73.
He was born October 9, 1952 to Armond and Gladys Selle whom proceeded in death, along with a sister-law Ginger Selle and a Brother-in-law Robert Elandt.
Jim was a farmer for most of his life and farmed on the same farm in Winneconne for almost 52 years. Other than farming Jim spent 35 years on the Winnebago County Fair Board serving as vice president for a most of those years. He also spent most of his youth and a big share of his adult life volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America. Obtaining First Class as a youth and the Silver Beaver Award and District Award of Merit as an adult. He was also a Vigil member of the Order of Arrow and Wood badge Beaver both with the Boy Scouts of America.
Jim was survived by his wife Colleen, son David (special friend) Kim Hansen, Granddaughter Brittany (Dustin) O'Bright. Step-son Blaine (Samantha) Gibson and Step-granddaughter Lily. Brother Jeff and his children Dan, Becky and Tim plus brother Doug (Julie) Selle and his children Steph, Bradley, Kevin, Sister-laws Cindy (Forrest) Peterson, Carmen Riebel and Martha Elandt. Brother-in-laws Richard (Mona) Elandt and Roger (Susan) Elandt. Nieces, Nephews, Quinn Selle and other great- nieces and nephews and two great great nephews.
Fellow farmers will serve as pallbearers Mike and Andy Becker, Jake and Jack Dodd, Ed Quigley and Ryan Overton.
Visitation and Service at Mueller's Funeral Home in Winneconne, Wisconsin February 6th 4pm-7pm and February 7th 10- until the time of the service. A Celebration of Life at Westward Ho near Buttes Des Morts, Wisconsin February 10th 4pm -7 pm
In lieu of flowers give monetary donation of your choice in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
