IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jerome "Jerry" A.
Landsverk
December 17, 1940 – March 11, 2026
Jerome “Jerry” A. Landsverk of Neenah, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Jerry was born in Navarino, WI on December 17, 1940, to Arnold and Anita (Muthig) Landsverk. He graduated from Neenah High School in the spring of 1959. He then attended the University of WI-Stout earning his bachelor's and master's degrees. While at college in Menomonie, Jerry also met the love of his life, Sandy. Jerry and Sandy celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on October 10, 2025. He still carried her graduation picture in his wallet until his last day.
Jerry taught Industrial Arts for 36 years, 34 of those at Menasha High School. He took great pride in his students and the projects he taught them how to build. From gun cabinets to Grandfather Clocks, he was truly an artist when it came to woodworking.
After retirement he focused on his orchard and oversized garden, always bragging about the money he made selling apples and vegetables from his roadside stand. He loved the outdoors where he would hunt deer with the Cole gang and fish with family and friends. However, his favorite activity since he was young was pheasant hunting with his German Shorthairs. He was very proud to be a charter member of Payne’s Point Hook and Spear Club. He was also a huge Wisconsin sports fan, though it took a special kind of person to watch a game with him. If you've ever had this experience, you know what we're talking about! Jerry will truly be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; and children, Greg (Jennifer), Vickie Smead, Gerry (Dawn) Landsverk. Jerry was very proud of his grandchildren, Drew, Brooke, Josie, Ani, and Wesley. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley (Phil) Zehner; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Jerry had a special connection with Brian Landsverk who took time to make the drive from Illinois to visit while he was sick. Though we suspect he was really looking to collect on their long-standing bet between the Packers and Bears, because the Bears finally won!
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Ralph and Mary Fredrickson; and son-in-law, Ron Smead; cousin, Bruce (Mina) Landsverk who was like a brother to Jerry.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the Bethesda Cemetery in Navarino.
