With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Justine Ann Trilling, who passed away on December 25, 2025, at Ascension Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Born on July 26, 1965, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Justine was a beloved daughter of James and Karen (Huibregtse) Lawrence. 

Justine's journey began in her hometown. While working at Trilling Hardware, it was there that she met Joe Trilling, whom she married on September 14, 1985, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Justine graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1983, and over the years, she dedicated herself to her work, spending more than 25 years at Bemis, followed by a two-year tenure at Sargento Cheese. 

Justine found immense joy in life's simple pleasures—cozying up at home with a good book, cherishing the moments spent with her adored feline companion, George, and enjoying her favorite true crime shows, and recenlty, episodes of "Judge Judy" with Joe. Her heart was a sanctuary for those around her, filled with love for her family and friends. 

Justine leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by Joe; her two wonderful sons, Ben (Tricia) Trilling and Noah (Bailie) Trilling; her brother Dan (Sandy) Lawrence; her beloved niece, Reya, and nephew, Jackson; and her two cherished grandchildren, Raelyn and Kensley. Justine is further survived by her Uncle Duane (Patty) Huibregtse, a multitude of cherished brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and especially her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Thielke. 

Justine is preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Velma Lawrence, and Erwin and Margaret Huibregtse; her aunt, Jean Huibregtse; her mother and father-in-law, Hugo and Carol Trilling. 

A private celebration of Justine’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County.
