Karen E. (Gunther) Karbon, age 78, of Omro, died Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born October 11, 1939, in Oshkosh to the late George and Esther (Herzig) Gunther. Karen will always be remembered as good wife, mother, and friend who enjoyed a cold beer and good times. Karen is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Karbon; a daughter and her family, Annette Marie and Eugene Bacon and son Alex; three step-daughters and their families, Terri and Clark Turner and children, Christa, Josh, Justin, Jared, and Erin; Jane Karbon; Melinda and Mike Luker and sons, Robert and Nick Egan; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Maria Teresa Gunther; and other relatives and friends. Along with her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Donald Gunther. Per Karen's wishes cremation will take place and there will be no service held.
