Karen Kay Kunde, age 48, of Oshkosh died Monday, March 6, 2017, at home. She was born December 12, 1968, in Oshkosh to Donald and Patricia (Rymer) Kunde. Karen was a 1987 graduate of Winneconne High School. She worked in retail at Goodwill Industries. Karen was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Winneconne. She found comfort in her family, neighbors, and church. Karen loved her nieces, nephews, dogs, and mowing lawn. Karen is survived by her father and step-mother, Donald and Lois Kunde, of Oshkosh; two brothers, a sister, and their families: John (Janet) Kunde, of Oshkosh, and their children, Jennifer, Justin, and Jaclynn Kunde; Mark (Cheryl) Kunde, of Oshkosh, and their children, Sarah (Jon) Walsh and their son Kristopher, Amanda Kunde (fiancé, Branden), Stacey Kunde, Mitchell (Katie) Kunde, Rhonda Kunde (friend, Dakota), Wanda Kunde (friend, Corey); Carol (John) Luedtke, of Dale, and their children, Eric, Nicole, and Tricia Luedtke; her good friend, Tom Samuel; and other relatives and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Kunde; a nephew, Joshua Kunde; and grandparents, Earl and Gladys Kunde, Lee and Dorothy Rymer. A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church 8 S. Fourth St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Albrecht officiating. Burial will be in the Scheller Cemetery, town of Nekimi.
