Kurt Brian Carpenter, 70, of Columbia, Kentucky, formerly of Larsen, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on July 23, 1954, to the late Merle and Florence (Sunquist) Carpenter. For 44 years, he worked as a water plant operator for SCA Tissue retiring in 2019. Kurt loved hunting, playing cribbage and sheepshead, was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.

Kurt is survived by his wife, Maureen (Tellock) Carpenter, of Columbia, KY; two children, Dustin Carpenter, of Columbia, KY; Crystal Carpenter, of Menasha, WI; three grandchildren, Taylor, Mikaela, and Keegan Carpenter; three brothers, Mark Carpenter, Steven (Christine) Carpenter, David Carpenter; and other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. There will be no funeral held. Following the visitation a lunch will be held at the American Legion Hall in Winneconne. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Rushford Cemetery.
