Leona E. (Branske) Leske, age 96, of Winchester, died Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Care Partners in Winneconne. She was born July 5, 1919. Leona worked as a cook for the Winneconne Community Schools before going to work at Pleasant Acres in Oshkosh, where she worked for more than 25 years until her retirement. She loved cats, and enjoyed gardening and traveling. Leona was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Winchester, and its Martha Circle. Leona is survived by a daughter, Karen (Paul) Milner; five grandchildren, Keith (Sue) Milner, Mark (Denise) Milner, Karl Branske III, Michael (Carlene) Milner, Kari Shearer; nine great-grandchildren, Marten (Jen) Milner, Karissa Jennings, Karl Branske IV, Rebekah (Ian) Stuart, Heidi Milner, Nathan (Sadie) Milner, Malachi Milner, Isaiah Milner, Molly Shearer; two great-great-grandchildren, Aiden Stuart, Serena Jennings; and other relatives and friends. Preceding Leona in death were her parents, Adolph and Bertha Sauby; two husbands, Karl Branske, Sr., Harold Leske; and a son, Karl Branske, Jr. A visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester, 8396 Steeple Hill Dr. Larsen. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Ted Johanson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Winchester.
