Leone T. Allmers, age 73, passed away at her home on December 26, 2017. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on November 23, 1944, and grew up in Brookfield, WI. Leone graduated from Brookfield Central High School and went on to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she earned her degree in Medical Technology. She worked as a Medical Technologist for several years before staying home to raise a family in Winneconne. Leone enjoyed nature, wildlife and animals, and she was a proud mother and grandmother. Leone is survived by her brother, Earl (Ali) Pagel; her sister, Sandy Lyle; her daughter, Robin (Thomas) Heneghan; her son, Jason (Sadie) Allmers; her three grandchildren, Cody and Clara Allmers, and Finn Heneghan; in addition to several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Leone was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Mildred (Nabak) Pagel. The family will greet friends on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Church-Zittau, 9077 North Rd. Fremont where they will be hosting a short prayer ceremony at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Leone's name to the Humane Society.
