Obituary

Levi Grant Krueger, age 10, beloved son of Craig and Rachel Krueger, passed away unexpectedly on April 29th 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. A bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him, Levi filled his 10 years with love, laughter, and a spirit that was both incredibly sweet and just a little bit spicy. Levi was born in Oshkosh, WI on April 4, 2016, his daddy’s birthday, a connection that always felt a little extra special.

A proud 3rd grader at Omro Elementary School, Levi had a gift for making friends wherever he went. He loved people wholeheartedly and made sure those around him felt happy and cared for, often asking others if they were okay. His heart was truly golden.

Levi is deeply loved and survived by his parents Craig and Rachel and his two younger sisters, Emmy and Adlie, who adored their big brother. He shared with them not only laughter and play, but a bond that will forever remain unbreakable.

He is further survived by his grandparents Grant “Papa” and Gretchen “Gaga” Withers; Tom and Sheri Krueger; uncles, “Uncy Logan” Withers and Kyle (Stephanie) Krueger; cousins Makayla and Bailey; as well as a large extended family including Great Grandpa Emil Leppiaho and Great Grandma Florence Withers.

Levi was preceded in death by his Grandma Emily Krueger; Great Grandma Jean Leppiaho; Great Grandparents Dolores and Merlin Krueger; Great Grandpa Holly Withers, Great Grandma Barbara McDowell; and Great Grandpa Arthur Tesch.

Levi found joy in the simple and fun things in life, especially his favorite characters from his favorite movies like Disney Cars, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse, Sonic, and Elio. One of his most unique loves was “Connie”, the robotic vacuum, which brought him endless happiness and perfectly captured his delightful quirkiness.

Levi faced life’s challenges with remarkable bravery and determination beyond his years. Even in the hardest moments, he continued to show love, resilience, and a strength that inspired everyone around him.

In his final act of generosity, Levi became an organ donor, giving the gift of life to others. Before this, he was honored with an honor walk, surrounded by the love, respect, and gratitude of those who cared for him, a reflection of the profound impact he had on so many lives in such a short time.

He will be forever remembered for his unforgettable giggle, his stunning blue-green eyes, and the way he made others feel so deeply loved just by being himself.

Levi’s life, though far too short, was full of meaning, connection, and love. His legacy will live on not only in the hearts of his family and friends, but also in the lives he helped save.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 East Main Street, Winneconne, Wisconsin 54986.

Visitation will resume at Community Church, 2351 Ryf Road, Oshkosh, WI 54904 on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the church at 5:00 p.m. Dinner will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. Memorial will be established to support brain tumor research at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and family support of children battling brain tumors at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Our family would like to express our unending gratitude for all of those that supported Levi and our family throughout Levi’s battle and especially the last week of his life. We are forever grateful the care provided by Dr. Nir Shimony, Dr. Ibrahim Qaddoumi, Tricia Allmon APNP. Dr Colleen Melengaz, and the entire staff of the Le Bonheur’s 5th Floor PICU.
