Obituary

Lewis Gottstein passed away at Aurora Health Center in Oshkosh on July 3, 2021, after a long illness.

He was born in Chicago on September 17, 1953, to Marilyn (Feldman) and Stanley Gottstein. He went to Morgan Park Academy and graduated from Glenbrook South High School. Lewis graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 1978 with a degree in Radio, TV and Film and went on to work in sales in various media.

Lewis became "Lewie the Horn Guy" while selling at various Renaissance Faires around the country. He loved the traveling life with the fairs and making friends all over the country. He also loved Godzilla, motorcycles and superhero movies.

Lewis is survived by two brothers, Ross M. (wife Sheri) Gottstein and Mark Peter (wife Jeanne) Gottstein; and was preceded in death by a brother, Shane Neil in 1996; and sister-in-law Cheryl (Ross) in 2001. He is also survived by nieces, Andrea Gottstein, Zoe (Mia) Gottstein; and nephew, Delaney Reardon. He is survived by his partner of 42 years, Marla Tonn, Oshkosh; and her sister, Jody Tonn; and his best friend, Richard Johnston, Neenah.
