Lucille "Lucy" Christianson, age 101, of Larsen, died Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Atrium Post Acute Care of Neenah. She was born October 26, 1914, at home on Rabbit Road in Dale to the late Leonard and Rossie (Peterson) Cornelius. In 1937 Lucy married Birdell "Bud" Christianson in Iowa, and he preceded her in death in 1984. She had worked in the bakery at Hansen's Red Owl in Winchester and at the Yellow Jacket Supper Club, Winchester. Lucy was a member of St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church in Neenah. She loved cats and enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. Lucy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Judy Christianson, of Larsen; grandchildren, Kim and Randy Hankemeier, of Neenah; Rick and Patti Christianson, of Hurley; great-grandchildren, Steven (Bre) Hankemeier, Thomas Hankemeier, Laura Christianson (fiancé, Brad); great-great-grandchildren, Weston and Emerson Hankemeier; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cornelius; and other relatives and friends. Along with her parents and husband, Lucy was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Melissa Christianson; and a brother, Charles Cornelius. A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, August 4, 2016, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church 140 S. Green Bay Rd. Neenah. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Bob Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in the Clayton Cemetery.
