Obituary

Lyman E. Johnson, 87, dearly loved husband, father, and grandfather died Tuesday, September 22, 2015, in North Port, Florida. Lyman was born October 27, 1927, in Oshkosh to Hilda (Dorow) and Adrian Johnson. He served in the U.S. Navy during the WWII conflict. Lyman married the former Aurelia "Mickey" Adasiewicz/Bloom in 1945 and Betty Falch-Johnson in 2005. He was employed and retired from American Can in Neenah. He and Mickey also operated Johnson's Triangle in Kewaunee for 6 years. Lyman was a loving, caring person who enjoyed his family and friends. He was creative and could fix most things he set his mind to. Lyman enjoyed playing cards, golfing, fishing, hunting, and participating in Harbor Cove activities. Lyman is survived by his wife, Betty; his children, Mary (Myrle) Stratton, Green Bay; Gary (Jeannine) Johnson, Green Bay; Michael (Linda) Johnson, Oshkosh; and Chris (Linda) Johnson of Palm City, Florida; stepdaughters, Candace (Mark) Moody, Madison; Deborah (Ron) Heilig, Punta Gorda, Florida; along with many adoring grandchildren, their spouses, and great-grandchildren. Preceding Lyman in death were his wife, Aurelia "Mickey"; his parents; his mother in-law and father-in-law, Anne and Jack Bloom; a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Don Walter; and two infant grandchildren.
