Lynn Ann Durnil, age 73 of Winneconne, passed away on September 21, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Appleton, WI on October 18, 1952, to the late Louis and Evelyn (Ashman) Dietz.

Lynn will be remembered for her joyful spirit and her fierce love for family and friends. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Lawrence “Stephen” Durnil, on November 10, 1990, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton. After dedicating an impressive 38 years of her life to Neenah Paper, Lynn embraced retirement and filled her days with the things she loved— boating, tending to the flowers, vegetation and bird feeders in the yard, taking care of her cats, traveling and most importantly, cherishing her time with loved ones.

Lynn is lovingly survived by her husband, Stephen; stepdaughter, Heather (R. Mitchel) Edwards; grandchildren, Calvin, Owen and Elle Edwards; siblings, Claudette, Richard (Sandy), Frank (Donna), Warren (Nancy), Russell (Joan) Dietz, and Patricia (Chuck) Schreiter. She is further survived by many special nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a plethora of friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Lynn will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, WI 54986, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Fr. Erwin Obias. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

In her final days, Lynn received exceptional care from the devoted staff at the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the nurses who treated her with such compassion and kindness.
