Marilyn Jean (Buech) Goska, age 85, of Winneconne, died Monday, November 15, 2021, at home. She was born February 26, 1936, in Milwaukee to the late Robert F. and Regina C. Buech. Marilyn attended and graduated from St. Vincent Grade School. She was a 1953 graduate of St. Mary's Academy, and in 1957 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee. For many years Marilyn worked as a registered dietitian and was a member of the American Dietetic Association. On February 23, 1963, she married Dr. John R. Goska, and John's time in the Navy took them to many places. In 1995 Marilyn and John retired to their home on Lake Poygan. Both Marilyn and John volunteered at Mercy Medical Center, the Salvation Army and church. They are members of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dr. John Goska; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Angela Goska, Robert Goska and Kimberly Szpiech; a son-in-law, Michael Rheintgen; three grandsons, Andrew, Adam, and Alex Goska; her siblings, Gerald (Nancy) Buech, Judy (Rich) Marchewka, David (Dee) Buech, Robert Jr. (Michelle) Buech, Rose (Jim) Luebke; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.

Along with her parents, Marilyn was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gina Rheintgen.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11:00 at the church. Burial will follow in the St. Thomas Cemetery, Poygan. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.
