Marlyn J. Abraham, age 76, of Butte des Morts, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 24, 2016. She was born November 26, 1939, in Omro to the late William and Ruby (Harper) Wiesner. Marlyn was a graduate of Omro High School and earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from UW-Oshkosh. For 35 years she was an educator for the Oshkosh School District. On April 22, 1961, Marlyn married William Abraham in Omro and they made their home in Oshkosh until moving to Butte des Morts in 1976. Marlyn was a member of Martin Luther Ev. Church, Oshkosh and the Winchester Hills Golf Course. She enjoyed golf, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her family. Marlyn is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Monica Abraham, of Wausau; daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Stephen Wojnicki, of Lindenhurst, Illinois; five grandchildren, Kelsey and Kolyn Abraham, Nate Matuszewski, Samantha and Sarah Wojnicki; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and James Judkins, of West Allis; brother and sister-in-law, David and Marilyn Wiesner, of Omro; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Nancy Abraham, of Butte des Morts; Phyllis Helgren and her friend Art Binder, of Neenah; Sue Blaha, of Oshkosh; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Along with her parents, Marlyn was also preceded in death by her husband Bill on March 18, 2004. A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, December 1, 2016, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Visitation will continue on Friday, December 2 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church 1526 Algoma Blvd. Oshkosh.
