Martin "Marty" A. Ruedinger, 84, of Oshkosh, passed away at home on Friday, August 15, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born May 5, 1941, in Oshkosh to Marcel and Gertrude (Ratajczak) Ruedinger. Marty was a graduate of Oshkosh High School. On August 26, 1961, he married Suzanne Plummer at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Oshkosh. For many years Marty worked as a repairman for Canteen Corp. in Oshkosh, traveling most of the state. After Sue's retirement, they resided in Arizona for 10 years, and were snowbirds there for another 5 years. Marty and Sue enjoyed motorcycling and covered almost all of the 50 states. He was a member of the Elks Club in Oshkosh.

Marty is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Sue Ruedinger; children, Deborah (Rob) Curtis, of Barrington, Illinois; Wayne (Elena) Ruedinger, of Puyallup, Washington; Rebecca (Douglas II) Gafner, of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Bradley (Christine) Curtis, Aaron (Samantha) Curtis, Benjamin (Danielle) Curtis, Mitchell Ruedinger, Allen (Melissa) Ruedinger, Jahni (Jon) Hazen, Douglas Gafner III, Sophia Gafner, Jessica Gafner; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Preceding Marty in death were his parents.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Plummer Cemetery, Oshkosh.
