Mary-Frances Margaret Stokes-Jansen, age 71, of Allenville, passed away on Tuesday April 13, 2021, from complications of Lewy Body Dementia after a short stay at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. She was born August 30, 1949, to the late Dick and Emily (Bevier) Stokes of High Falls, New York.

"Peg", or "Maggie" as she was known, married Bob Jansen on September 30, 1988. For 33 years, they relished their lives together on their land in Allenville surrounded by their numerous pets, family and friends.

For most of her professional life, Peg, a highly regarded and talented elementary school teacher, brought her spirit and inspiration to the 1st, 3rd and 5th graders she taught for her 33 years in the Neenah School District.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, of Allenville; her brother, Dick (Juliette) Stokes; and her sister, Jen (Jim) Nerone, all of High Falls, NY; sister-in-law, Judy (Roy) Garvin, of Appleton; along with several nieces and nephews.

Peg was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Emily Stokes; and sister, Katherine (Jerry) Davis.

A small private service was held at the Allenville Cemetery per her wishes. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers the family is encouraging donations in her memory be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association at LBDA.org.
