Mervin B. Dehn age 87, of Omro died Friday, March 11, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born June 13, 1928 to the late Fred and Mabel (Walters) Dehn. 68 years ago Mervin married Elaine Stertz. He dairy farmed until his retirement and upon retiring from farming in 1995 he enjoyed driving school bus for almost 15 years for Garvens Bros. Bus Company, Omro. Mervin was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Omro where he had served as an elder. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and socializing with friends and relatives. Mervin is survived by his wife, Elaine Dehn, of Omro; a daughter, Kathryn (Steven) Holbrook, of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Terry (Stacy) Wilson, of Kaukauna; Jim (Kimber) Wilson, of Omro; three great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Kody, and Kailee Wilson, all of Omro; and other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Mervin was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Dehn. A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, March 14, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, March 15 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave. Omro. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.at the church with Pastor Richard Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be in the Omro Cemetery.
